Stage 3: AlUla to Hail: A Crossroads of Heritage and Motorsport

Hail, Saudi Arabia – 25 April, 2025:
Stage three took participants from the ancient wonders of AlUla to the dynamic landscapes of Hail, a region renowned for its deep roots in Saudi motorsport history. After experiencing AlUla’s dramatic rock formations and heritage sites, teams faced Hail’s vast dunes, rocky outcrops, and unpredictable wind patterns, offering a technical and varied course that separated seasoned navigators from the rest.

The day’s route combined traditional Bedouin trails with newer adventure tourism paths, challenging teams to manage speed, endurance, and navigation under pressure.

Reem Al Aboud and Hanna Riehle of Jameel Motorsport are now leading the overall standings, following another exceptional performance in their Land Cruiser Prado. They were closely followed by Mashael AlHowaish and Taye Perry from Lexus Racing Team, competing in a Lexus RX 500H. In third place, Farah Zakaria and Farah Ateyyat of Al Markazia Toyota held strong in their Toyota Fortuner. These results remain provisional until officially confirmed by rally organizers.

As the competition intensifies and the final stage approaches, smart decisions and quick reactions are becoming critical in shaping the final standings. To stay in contention, teams must make smart decisions under pressure, as timing mistakes, even by seconds, can drastically shift their ranking.
