King Salman Al Saud issued a statement recognizing women rights to drive cars in Saudi Arabia. By June 24th 2018, Saudi women were driving on the streets of Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦

Recognizes that a successful, modern nation must encourage and empower all members of society, especially women. That is why Women Empowerment takes a huge part of the vision.

Empowering women in Saudi Arabia covers all aspects where sports is a very important field. Not only sports but Motorsports also.

From that vision and objective

This project was born

❞ The first women’s only navigation rally

  • Rally Jameel the first navigation off-road rally for women in Saudi Arabia and the region
  • Rally Jameel is an off-road Navigation Rally that does not require speed in which teams of two ladies each will use a state of the art navigation equipment and a digital road book to compete on a pre-defined route in the beautiful deserts of Saudi Arabia using normal off road cars through hidden Waypoints to collect points. The team that accumulate the most points win the Rally.

Event Information

The first women only off-road navigation rally taking place in Saudi Arabia

Date : 4th – 8th March

5 day event passing 5 cities

8th March is Int’l Women’s Day

The final desert stage will end on women international Day

Cars allowed to participate

All wheel drive or 4X4 (unmodified)

Location

Starting from Hail to KAEC passing AlUla, Umluj ,Yanbu

Each team will have

2 ladies driving manufactured 4-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicles

Competition Skills

Navigation, checkpoint and planning – not speed

  • The rally is designed as a competition to test navigation and skills, not speed, through traveling on a predefined route between checkpoints where points will be accrued.
  • The route may vary from 300 to 500 km per day and is kept confidential until the night before each stage.

    Safety comes first so we will be using a state-of-the-art Tracking System
